EXECUTIVE COUNCIL 2022-2023

Officers

 

Zeta Tau Alpha's Executive Committee provides the overall strategic direction of the chapter.  The role of Executive Committee is involved in all programs within the chapter, including chapter administration, standards, recruitment, finances, membership education, social enrichment, and Panhellenic relations.

Valeria notte

Chapter President 

Valeria Notte is from Madison, GA and is a third year Business Supply Chain Management major with a certificate in Legal Studies. After serving previously on the Executive Committee, she is so excited and thankful to continue to serve Gamma Pi as the Chapter President. Finding a home within ZTA is something that she will never forget, and she hopes to help other members have that same experience. She is so thankful for the valuable friendships that she has made within ZTA, and she is looking forward to the year ahead!

emma kate williams

VP I 

Emma Kate is from Dublin, GA. She is a second year majoring in Exercise and Sports Science with the intention to go on to an Occupational Therapy program. Emma Kate believes the best way to express her thankfulness for being a Zeta is to give back in service. She has served as the Academic Chair as well as House Manager on the last Committee. Emma Kate is so excited to start in this new position and continue to grow relationships with the members in the chapter! She is so very thankful to get to know and work another year with this excellent board.

olivia babasick

VP II New Member Educator

Olivia is a second year Management and International Business co-major with a Spanish minor from Houston, Texas. After such a fulfilling past year on EC, she couldn’t wait to be a part of such an amazing group of girls again! Zeta has felt like a second home to her ever since Bid Day, so she is excited to welcome PC '23 home to a place that has made her feel so loved and welcomed every day!

VP III Recruitment 

Sydney is a third year from Beaufort, South Carolina and is currently an Environmental Health major on the Pre-PA track. She has previously served on rush executive council, and cannot wait to serve the Gamma Pi chapter as the Vice President of Recruitment. Sydney is looking forward to giving back to a chapter that provided her with countless blessings and a home away from home. She is excited to help the women who come through recruitment find their home and sisters that will forever stand beside them.

gracie nash

VP IV Philanthropy 

Gracie Nash is a second year from Monroe, GA. She is currently studying Public Relations with a minor in Classical Culture. She has worked in events and weddings for over a year with Madelynn Tenney Events. Gracie served on the Philanthropy Board as the Sponsorship Chair. She can not wait to create a fun morale in our chapter regarding philanthropy events and to raise money and bring forth awareness for an incredible cause close to her heart!

avery ayer

Treasurer

Avery Ayer is a second year Finance major and Chinese language and literature minor. Avery developed her love for Chinese language and culture while living abroad in Shanghai, China. She loves to travel and aspires to work abroad one day. Avery is excited to represent ZTA as Treasurer and is looking forward to working with each member of the Executive Committee.

mary katherine hobbs

Secretary

Mary Katherine Hobbs is a first year intended Special Education major with an emphasis in Autism and Adaptive Curriculum from Cumming, GA! Ever since Mary Katherine stepped foot on the ZTA lawn she knew she had found her girls & her home! She is honored to serve the chapter through this role and beyond grateful to be on the executive committee this year!

Abigail durocher

VP V Risk Management 

Abigail is a second year Public Relations major and Business minor. She is from Athens, GA and has loved living close to UGA her whole life. Abigail enjoyed serving on the Executive Committee  last year as the Ritual Chair and is excited to be serving again. She is now the Risk Reduction and Education Chairman, overseeing risk management and events. During her time so far at UGA, Zeta has been one of the best and most memorable experiences and she is excited to continue to help lead the chapter. Abigail is thankful to work alongside such amazing girls and build deeper relationships with all members.

Jessica moore

Historian

Jessica Moore is a third year Journalism major from Roswell, GA. She has always been passionate about writing and visual storytelling so serving as Historian has been exciting and so much fun for her! Zeta has been such a valuable and important part of her college experience and she’s honored to have the opportunity to share her love for the chapter with the community through pictures and representing our brand. She is so thankful to be surrounded by an amazing group of girls each and every day.

olivia dugan

Academic

Olivia is a first year from Leawood, Kansas and is currently studying Psychology. Zeta has allowed her to branch outside of her comfort zone and meet all kinds of new people. She is very grateful to serve on the Executive Committee and to work with such caring girls. Olivia is excited for a great year on EC and can’t wait to make amazing memories as a member of Zeta!

Ritual

Kate is from Waycross, Georgia and is a first year biology major. She plans on pursuing a career in orthodontics/oral surgeries. Kate is honored to have the opportunity to serve on the Executive Council and represent ZTA. Kate values good reputations, being reverent, building others up, respecting diversity and upholding traditions. Kate is excited to serve as Ritual Chairman, so that she can unite the chapter through traditions and rituals that make Zeta so special while building meaningful relationships throughout the year.
